Volunteer Internships Work Experience

Please note that we are unable to currently offer voluntary or work experience placements at this time. Please check back again soon if you wish to apply in the near future once applications re-open.

Volunteering at the Library, Museum & Gallery

The Library, Museum & Gallery has a fun and interactive volunteering program that runs across all of our facilities. Volunteering is a great way to develop new skills, gain a better understanding of how busy public library, museum & gallery facilities operate and contribute to the community.

Depending on your availability, skills, and current LMG projects, there are a vast range of activities that you can assist with.
Volunteers have the option to contribute their time at Hurstville Library, Penshurst Branch Library and/or Hurstville Museum & Gallery.

Staff will endeavor wherever possible to match volunteers with tasks and availability as requested in the application. Volunteers must be at least 14 years and 9 months in age.
