This exhibition gives a fascinating insight into the making of the acclaimed picture book and multi-award-winning animation The Lost Thing, created by Melbourne author and illustrator Shaun Tan.

The story of The Lost Thing  is about a boy who befriends a strange creature which seems to be lost. The tale follows the boy's journey as he tries to find out where this lost thing belongs.

The exhibition features a range of original drawings, paintings and other developmental work for both the picture book and the animated film.

Join us for the official opening and a family night out with a screening of Shaun Tan's film The Lost Thing.

All welcome. Free event. Drinks and nibbles provided.
